Have a memorable holiday in one of our incredible, unique properties!

Can't decide where to go? Here are our top five unique retreats to help inspire you.

Tawstock Castle, Devon

This Grade II listed bailey castle, with parts dating from the 18th century, stands on a hilltop with wonderful views of Devon through 360 degrees. It sits in approximately eight acres of its own parkland, conveniently close to Barnstaple.

Llancayo Windmill, Monmouthshire

This fine mill is just north of the former market town of Usk in Monmouthshire. It was built in 1813 and fell into ruin before being restored four years ago. Attractions in the area include the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Higher Lodge, Devon

A unique, thatched, cob cottage, the site of which dates back to the early 17th century and which was once the gatehouse to the historic Cockington Estate. The property benefits from two large en suite bedrooms and is nestled in the corner of the 460-acre country park.

Sally Port Cottage, Cornwall

Presented in association with Trinity House, this property is situated at the furthest point of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. The lighthouse, once the setting of Fraggle Rock, is still operational but Sally Port Cottage offers you a totally private holiday home in a stunningly beautiful location.

The Gate Lodge, Suffolk

Expect the unexpected at The Gate Lodge, located a short drive from Sibton Park Estate. These Grade II listed lodges, designed by the celebrated neoclassical architect James Wyatt, have been ingeniously extended and marry historical architecture with modern comforts.

Her love of writing started from a young age and on rainy days nothing beats curling up in a secret corner with a good book.
