It's that time again!

Valentine's Day will be on us before you know it, so it's time to start planning!

Nothing says romance like being swept off your feet and whisked away somewhere special.

Imagine an exquisite countryside setting, in the heart of one of Britain's best beauty spots: the Lake District, the South Downs or a small corner of Yorkshire. No one else around for miles, nature stretching in to the distance and an abundance of walks to enjoy right on your doorstep. You'll be able to wander during the day, soak up the views and then hunker down for an evening in front of the fire. Snuggle up in the warm with a good book or just chat and enjoy each other's company.

Not really a nature person?

Not a problem. Why not try a city break instead? We have loads of properties located in the heart of, or at a walking distance from bustling towns and cities. Maybe you're interested the bright lights and night life of somewhere like Bath, or perhaps it's a quaint little village in Norfolk that you've always fancied visiting, just a wander from the local pub.

Make it personal

Our sweet little two-guest properties come in a range of shapes and styles that will suit all tastes. A stunning collection of self-catering accommodation means that you have the freedom to cook up what ever it is that you fancy, or even venture out for a posh meal at one of the local eateries. Why not make the evening really personal and cook your special someone their favourite meal? Crack open a bottle of bubbly and enjoy the evening of quiet.

View our full range of properties and just enter your specifications to narrow the search, such as: 2 guest, the dates you're free, lighthouse cottages... etc. Start your search here.

Luci loves getting out and about for a good cycle ride or easy-going walks in the countryside, and thoroughly enjoyed the time she previously spent working for the National Trust. Her love of writing started from a young age and on rainy days nothing beats curling up in a secret corner with a good book.
