Thank you for a lovely week - a fabulous place to stay. Lantic Bay is beautiful late afternoon walk / climb (1 mile round trip with steep decent / ascent to the beach - (not for the faint hearted!) to round off a day in Fowey and Polperro. We were also pleased to discover Freathy beach in the other direction. Eden project approx 50 mins drive and worth it. We would love to come back, so much more to be seen

We've had a very good week in LOOKOUT, enjoyed the house which certainly has the best view of any house we have stayed in the RR. We had great weather which meant we could sit on the balcony every evening to watch the ships, the sea and the stars also Eddystone Lighthouse. Polperro is a pleasant ride away. Good dinner out at the Blue Plate. Seaton beach cafe does good sandwiches and paninis - It's convenient for lunch ont he beach, if a little shabby. A lovely week.

Perfect fro a 4 day break before Christmas. Had 3 glorious days of sun. Highly recommend The Blue Plate Restaurant, lovely food from chef Simon. The Waves Bar, the friendliest bar you will find and shows all sport. Healeys Cider Farm is a great day out. Take the hay cart ride and guided tour - Rats in Cider. Thank you Lookout and Downderry.

We have had a wonderful week here - felt very relaxed and at home. Although the weather has not been amazing the changing light and the view are always gorgeous. We've spent a lot of time exploring here - one day excursion to St Michael's Mount and the Minack Theatre. Looe is lovely and the fish market is great for fresh fish. The earlier you go the better the choice. We had a lovely dinner at the Ancient Mariner - worth the deposit and also a great lunch at the Blue Place. Loved walking on the beach, the birds and the rock pools. Thank you.

Beautiful house with amazing view. We loved the bi-fold doors bringing the outside in. Wonderful welcome pack, best we have ever had. We enjoyed a meal at the Waver Bar and Restaurant. Days out at Polkerris beach, Readymoney Cove, the Eden Project, Porthcurno Cove and Polperro (beautiful fishing village). We had a yummy cream tea in The Plantation - definitely recommended.

For all the reasons I booked this property (3 ensuites, open plan and fantastic views) our week has worked out very well, The first time we have gone away with two new baby grandsons, both only three months, had they been a bit older I think it might have been a little tight for space (6 adults and 2 children). It is a lovely house.

A wonderful New Year at Lookout. Brilliant fireworks in Looe which we watched from the balcony. We enjoyed a trip to the Barbican in Plymouth and a curry from 'Gurka' in Liskeard. We loved watching the storm roll in and kept warm by the fire. A beautiful house. Thank you.

We have had a most enjoyable stay at Lookout. A wide range of weather - two hot days eating lunch on the outdoor table and a couple of wet storms too. Whilst here we have enjoyed walking the coast path (nice cafe at Tulland Bay); the delights of the local ferries (Boddinich for lovely Fowey, Torpoint for Plymouth and onto great views of Tamar Bridge from Wolseley Road) and NT house at Anthony.

'Cherry Tree's' in Padstow and 'Catch' in Looe are brilliant for some local food. Avoid Penzance and Newquay and stick to visiting the lovely beaches and port towns (especially Falmouth).

Love the house and the views of the sea. Great location, quiet and easy access to the beach at Seaton. Looe and Polperro both nice, pretty places to visit with plenty to do. Fantastic lunch of moules & frittes at the Blue Plate in Downderry ... recommend the Terry Harrison, Padstow Harbour. Jigsaws for the evening (all the pieces are there!). Parking a bit tricky for a big car but plenty of space on the road below. Great kitchen, very well equipped - especially the mitt, tongs, knives and chopping boards! We did loads of cooking at home, enjoying nice family meals around the big table with the beautiful backdrop of the sea views. Amazing holiday - one of the best. Thanks very much, we would definitely love to come back!

We don't want to leave. We have had a fantastic few days here. We explored the beaches in the village, went for a couple of runs and the country park, went to Looe and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. We also got up to Dartmoor on our only bad weather day. We ate out well - the Blue Plate in the village - excellent. Cornerhouse in Looe, Rugglestone Inn on Dartmoor - excellent and the Treby Arms on the way down in Devon - really good. We are off to explore Slapton Sands on the way back, via the Millbrook Inn which is always lovely.

Thank you so much - beautiful house in a fantastic location for exploring Cornwall! We had a lovely half term holiday with trips to Falmouth, Land's End, Bodmin and the Eden Project. We would definitely recommend visiting the Ede Project - it was the highlight of the trip for our two boys (although they also enjoyed playing in the rock pools at the beach here!). We never made it to the Blue Plate in the village as dined in on our nights here enjoying the terrace and the view, but would recommend Bosvenna Restaurant in Bodmin - had lunch there, lovely food and very child-friendly. Thanks again for a great holiday.

It had been a most enjoyable week! We have enjoyed the lovely house, the kids arguing over the pink chair. Informing me its comfy, cosy and colourful. We are so grateful for all the wonderful places nearby like the beach and the restaurants. We went to Looe (15-20 minutes away), lots of lovely shops and good places to go crabbing.
