Having visited these beautiful gardens earlier last year we were delghted to find that we could stay here in Spring Water Barn this year. The basket of goodies on our arrival was very welcome. We had an early evening walk through the gardens every day when it would appear that we had them entirely to ourselves - bliss!

Beautiful comfortable cottage, so quiet! Really enjoyed walking through the gardens and seeing the lakes. Flora day was excellent to see and it didnt make any difference that it rained all day. Everyone in Helston was so welcoming. See you next year.

Lovely, spacious accomodation. Despite the cold nights, we were warm enough not to need the wood burner. Welcome pack of goodies a very pleasant surprise. In from the cold and wet conditions to be greeted by warm and cosy accomodation - the Christmas tree and seasonal decorations, a nice touch. And the cake!! Also the wine went down well. The weather could have been better but a delightful way to see the New Year in and Janet's birthday on 2nd January. Once mastered, the wood burning stove was a treat to behold. Most enjoyable - thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay on the Lizard - no need to go as far as Padstow or St Ives. Loads to see and do on the Lizard itself. Especially appreciated the good food available. Had an excellent meal cooked in a wood fired oven at Roskilly's on the Friday evening and a very good price. This is really a good place for families, but for adults too as good walks around the farm, meadows and ponds are free! Pasties excellent from Gear Farm - also nice brea, pastries and home made pizzas. Many thanks LH, Leicester
1 June 2013
A lovely, cosy cottage for two. Perfect location for enjoying all that the Lizard has to offer. Made a good start on walking the complete Cornish coastal path. Over the week we have walked and thoroughly enjoyed from Nare Point to Gunwalloe Fishing Cove (twice because of getting back to the car). A great welcome hamper and meals at the Ferryboat Inn, Helford Passage and Kota Kai, Porthleven. Fab pasties from Gear Farm and a yummy cream team and pastries from Roskilly's. Thanks very much. PS, Kent

We had a lovely week, only one day of rain. Seen all coves around Lizard. Kynance is stunning. Coverack is worth a visit, nice walk to harbour and bough home made pasties from Smugglers Cottage. A nice day at Falmouth with the ferry over to St Mawes for fish and chips at Rick Stein's on the quay. Spring Water Barn ticks every box, very comfortable, beautiful gardens. Loved home-made goodies, thank you. CO, Birmingham
