Lovely well equipped cottage, beautiful setting - visited Lizard Point, St Michael's Mount a must on a beautiful day and lovely restaurant at Marazion opposite the island.
Eden project - Rainforest and med domes good but core dome closed which was disappointing as no reduction in entry fee and no security checks on entry which was surprising given current climate. Charlestown was lovely.. Poldak mine was well worth a visit and the guide was great. Poldupoint beach had great waves for for surfing (not that we prticipated in this activity). The Halzephron Inn at Gunwalloe v good. Boynton Estate gardens are lovely and Im sure are stunning in Spring and Summer. Will visit Bodmin on drive back.

We've had a wonderful week enjoying walks, beaches, cream teas, pasties and more. And then came back to St Corantyn's each night where we slept like babies in our comfy beds! We really enjoyed the gardens and lakes, even got a couple of 'jogs' in as a family. Thank you, we'll be back!

Fathers Day 21st. Poldhu - Church Cove walk & coffee. Twitching!! Colony of about 6 "chuffs"! Very tame and able to get very close. Next 50 yards 3 ravens!! Then buzzed by a buzzard - what else!! Church at Church Cove - not destroyed or defaced by the reformation. Woodwork of great beauty. Porthleven - "Park and Walk" use the O.S map. Car park to south of town v busy on Saturday. You don't have to eat Michelin ** to find good food. Look out for Hummingbird Hawkmoth on patio and in garden.

Great food at Trengilly Wartha pub - rustic but good. Also at Pandora Inn in Mylor - wonderful afternoon of crabbing with children off the pontoon - must be done on a sunny day!

We have had a lovely, relaxing break here. The cottage has everything you could wish for, for a most comfortable stay. Enjoyed the homemade cake, biscuits & jam - delicious! Despite the weather, we had a good look around the area - St Ives is a great place to visit at this time of year!

A lovely holiday, thank you for all the yummie treats, they went down very well including the flowers. A great place for exploring the surrounding area. Lovely beaches at Porthmister, Kynance, Poldhu beach and Porthleven. Recommend Porthminster Casfe (St Ives) and Roskilly St Keverne for Ice Cream. Weather was mixed, but we had a lovely time. Lovely to explore Bonython Gardens too.AS, Wales
