Our week here in the very pleasant and comfortable cottage and garden has been very enjoyable. The cottage is well located for visiting the many interesting places in this lovely area - like previous visitors, we have been to Lyme Regis, Beer, Branscombe, A La Ronde, Charmouth etc. We have also been on some good walks. We especially liked Beer and had a good late lunch there and another at River Cottage Canteen in Axminster. And on our last night, a good dinner at The Ship Inn (Axmouth). Many thanks for the welcome hamper.

We have had an excellent week here with some lovely weather.
We agree with what everyone else has said about the cottage and the area.
The cottage was beautifully clean and very well equipped.
We also loved the garden and because we were so lucky with the weather, we were able to spend a lot of time in the garden.
And also of course we really enjoyed the sea.
Thank you very much.

We've had a lovely week. House was clean and fresh on arrival and has had everything that we needed. We've had some great days and outing:
Escot Wildwood - A great day out for families with animals and play stuff in the woods;
Seaton Trams - Great fun for everyone and then an ice cream and play in the sand on the beach;
Pecorama – Beer Heights Light Railway;
Beer Quarry Caves;
There’s also a good park a short walk down the hill too. Lots of things to do close by – great location, Thanks for having us!

What a charming and comfortable cottage!
We had a lovely stay and the cottage was a great base for exploring the surrounding areas. We had very good weather for the Bank Holiday weekend and explored a number of local beaches: Charmouth, Branscombe and Beer as well as Axmouth.
We had a lovely afternoon cream tea in Lyme Regis. Did a stunning round trip walk across the cliff tops from Branscombe to Beer.
Would recommend the Ship Inn for dinner in Axmouth – we had a good meal there.
Thank you or the welcome basket and thank you for such a comfortable stay.

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage. Provides everything you need.
Enjoyed Seaton, Sidmouth, Lyme Regis and Charmouth all a short distance away.
Dunstan Castle is worth a visit, in Somerset.
Good places to eat – the Ship Inn and Harbour Inn (both in Axmouth). Frydays for good fish and chips (Seaton).
The weather has been very good, no rain, and we have loved our stay here in East Devon, and will be back.
Thank you so much for the welcome basket, much appreciated after a long journey here.

Storm Imogen came to stay with us so the woodburner felt extra cosy with the wind and rain outside. Two nice lunches at Frydays in Seaton and the River Cottage Canteen in Axminster.

We loved the cottage, so cosy and beautifully furnished – I loved the babbling brook outside my bedroom window.
We loved Lyme Regis and its eating places. Thank you for the welcome basket – a treat upon arrival

Thank you for the really lovely and relaxing stay at 5 Hillside.The welcome hamper was great, being able to sample the lovely local produce. The cottage is great, so comfortable and well equipped.
We know the area well and love coming back here, particularly, Lyme (Regis), Beer, Seaton and the Donkey Sanctuary. Sidmouth is always a memorable place for us.
Seaton Tramway was great too, particularly the Halloween Special. Thank you for a really lovely time – we will be back!

- Fossil hunting at Charmouth
- Unusual National Trust property, A la Ronde
- Sidmouth
- Seaton trams and Frydays chips on the beach
- Beer beech huts and art galleries
