Green Knowe Cottage details

Green Knowe Cottage is a delightful, spacious cottage located on an old farm on the edge of the stunning Exmoor National Park. Enjoy beautiful valley views from both the cottage and its private patio across the 33 acres of land. And make sure to keep an eye out for 'B' and 'Autumn', the owners' two friendly horses. Treat yourself to breakfast with a view from the conservatory dining room or enjoy the wood burning stove in the double height, vaulted sitting room. Feel free to explore the fields, woodland and stream which are part of the property or drop into The Masons Arms, a Michelin star pub just down the road for a pint or a bite to eat (booking advised).

Situated on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park, there are many wonderful days out to be enjoyed from the cottage. Enjoy breath-taking walks or drives across the moors and through wooded valleys while nearby Dulverton offers a wonderful Exmoor village welcome with an array of local farm shops and goods. Explore nearby Knightshayes Court; a stylish Victorian mansion with glorious gardens. Alternatively visit bustling Barnstaple which is only a 25 minute drive away and explore the stunning expanse of Saunton Sands. A lovely 55 minute drive through the National Park takes you to the beautiful medieval village of Dunster, nestled below Dunster Castle – a National Trust property and a great day out.
