Another visit to this beautiful cottage, nestled in delightful gardens. Although the weather was patchy we were able to spend a lot of time sitting outside, surrounded by a wealth of plant life and birds. The cottage has been redecorated and is a very comfortable space to spend quality time with friends and/or family.

We had a really lovely week at Magna Cottage. The cottage itself was comfortable, with everything we needed. The directions provided were clear and we found the cottage without any issue. The large enclosed garden was amazing and we could have done a different walk every day, without having to get into the car. Definitely recommended and we plan to come back!

Another amazing stay at this cottage. Everything you need to have downtime in a peaceful setting. Breakfast in the garden, walks in the afternoon and meals together in the lovely dining room. The house lacks for nothing, is comfortable and clean. The housekeeper is really helpful, highly recommended cottage for time away with family or friends.

What a fabulously lovely cottage, well appointed and with beautiful garden. We had the most lovely few days exploring the Dorset countryside from this brilliantly situated location. Highly recommend.

A beautiful setting and a characterful cottage.we had a lovely stay. We felt the cottage was a little dated though and small things like leaf blowing the path, outside area etc would have been a nice thing to do before our arrival.

Beautiful cottage set in a fantastic rural location. Thatched roof, ingle nook fireplace, window seat and amazing gardens. Be prepared to duck if you are tall!!

Absolutely beautiful cottage & very comfortable. We stayed here as a base for my daughters wedding at nearby Larmer tree Gardens and it really was perfect. I needed to contact the housekeeper Harriet on my return about a missing article and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Wonderful place to stay!

We had a great time, location, cottage cuteness and accessible walks. The one thing that is changeable and I would have appreciated it, is pans that cater for 8 people. The pans available were way too small. Having to use 2 pans to cook pasta for 8 people.

Just absolutely perfect. The booking process with RR is easy and efficient. Harriet the housekeeper is lovely and helpful. The cottage is clean, neat and tidy and equipped with everything you need for a perfect family break. This is our 2nd visit. It is warm and cosy in the winter and just stunning in the summer. Cannot recommend this more.

It’s a pretty, warm, well equipped cottage. Great walks immediately out of the front door , in an exceptionally beautiful area. Could do with new pillows and bedside lights and a wardrobe in the master bedroom. But we had a lovely time and will return.

Wonderful and cosy cottage in a magical location. Great walks from the gate, lots of wildlife around about. Excellent facilities and welcome pack. Big garden. Suited us perfectly.
