We loved our stay at Rampisham Hill farm! The barn has been converted to a very high standard, is very well equipped and the rooms all spacious. It was really helpful to be able to borrow baby equipment too. Ruth and David were so welcoming and the perfect hosts. We really enjoyed helping out with feeding the lambs. The endless supply of eggs was much appreciated too! We definitely recommend staying here for a peaceful, yet well located, farm stay.

Fantastic stay at the barn. Thanks for being so welcoming and happy to chat to us about the farm. We loved feeding the lambs too! The barn was perfect for our needs, well equipped and we really appreciated the loan of the baby equipment. Thanks. We hope to visit again!

Three generations of our family have enjoyed a wonderful week at this stunning cottage. From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely perfect. The accommodation is superb, very comfortable and very well equipped, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and excellent quality.
We have been overwhelmed by David and Ruth's hospitality, so generous with their time, showing us and informing us about their farm, answering all our questions, allowing our kids to interact with the animals that live on it: feeding the sheep, cuddling the pony, collecting the eggs the hens had lay.
We were blessed with good weather and visited beaches recommended by Ruth and David, all of them lovely and good advices!
To sum up, fantastic cottage in a beautiful place with the most wonderful hosts!

A superb cottage in a lovely location, we have stayed in many cottages and this is by far the best. Very high quality fixtures and fittings, very well equipped kitchen and immaculately clean. Thank you for the wonderful hamper, it is the best we have had.We have visited Dorset many times but this part of the county is new to us, we have really enjoyed everything the area has to offer as well as revisiting some old favourites.

Thank you for the privilege of staying in this lovely conversion. It is a wonderful location to enjoy peace and rest and you have given our little grandson so much time and patience. He will have great memories of feeding the sheep, chickens and collecting the eggs etc. Time is one of the most important you can offer to folk and you have given it in abundance and it is lovely to come somewhere that is so interesting and fun for children at the same time as being safe and welcoming.

We have had a wonderful relaxing break in your beautiful barn conversion. It is comfortable, well equipped, and the downstairs bedroom and wet room are ideal for elderly parents

We have had a truly delightful break, firstly the old barn cottage is an inspired conversion, every aspect has been undertaken to the highest standard. It was a privilege to learn about the redevelopment and conversion, you were so generous with time educating and informing us about the farm and its workings, it was wonderful to interact with the farm and the animals that live on it.

We were blessed with good weather and sitting out enjoying the sun and a rural idyll was a real bonus. This part of Dorset was relatively unknown to us and we greatly enjoyed visiting the area.A great break in a great quality holiday home in a wonderful part of the country.

This is one of the best Rural Retreats we have been to (and we have visited quite a few!) A very good barn conversion, everything has been thought of and very comfortable – especially the beds. Thank you for your welcome and hospitality we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, this is a lovely part of the country.

Getting the Dorset countryside for four days, perfect weather and the cottage is an ideal base for the activity (cycling). You have done an outstanding job in outfitting the cottage, lots of natural stone and wood, with comfortable furnishings. Nicely understated, but nevertheless quite elegant and everything spotless too.

Thank you so much for our wonderful long weekend in your gorgeous barn conversion, it has been so beautifully and tactfully done – comfortable and stylish and equipped with everything we could need. The beds are supremely comfortable. Thank you for the generous and thoughtful welcome pack.Although the weather hasn’t been brilliant we have had the most wonderful time meeting your animals, and thanks to your kindness and generosity with your time we have learnt a lot and have some special memories to take away – bottle feeding and cuddling the lambs was the best thing ever!

Thank you for a lovely time, it has been such a fabulous experience staying here in your beautiful cottage, your generosity and kindness were the icing on the cake and made us all feel very special. You both went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, the hamper was incredible and thank you for always being so open and willing to show us around the farm and introduce us to your very well cared for animals. We wish we could have stayed longer, thank you for a great few days, I’m sure you will have many other visitors that love Rampisham as much as we did.

It has been an absolute pleasure staying at Rampisham; from the time we arrived your hospitality and warmth was evident with the way the cottage was ready for our late arrival on Christmas Eve. The cottage has been truly a ‘home away from home’ with every one of our needs being catered for. It has also been an eye opener living on a working farm.
