An excellent property, decorated in the modern style that we found to be exactly or better than described. The high quality furnishings and fittings made for a lovely holiday and the welcome hamper was superb. We appreciated the high standard of cleanliness that matched the luxury standard of décor. We were fortunate enough to meet a Trinity House team visiting the lighthouse who were kind enough to give us a private tour! By the way, the roadside vegetation needs cutting back. Thanks for a much enjoyed holiday

A great weekend, celebrating our younger sisters 60th birthday. Accommodation and location perfect, lovely walks and to top the weekend off we saw the dolphins in the sea in front of the cottage. AMAZING! MR, Hampshire

As we promised in Feb, we have returned. All we can say again is "Fantastic". What a way to celebrate the following A wedding A silver wedding anniversary and a 56th birthday, all in this one week. We have had fantastic weather. Just laughed and enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was superb and thanks to the very friendly housekeeper. In the words of someone else "We will be back" Thank you. A great cottage, freezing cold outside, but so snug inside. Wonderful walks with views even when windy. Swanage and Wareham sleepy but full of useful eateries. EB, March 2013

A great time for both of it - our first real holiday. We recommend Corfe Castle and the NT cream tea. Also loved the Studland in the Sar on Sunday. Wareham is a beautiful old town, the old walls and St Martin's Church made it even better. Do not forget Durleston Park. Our thanks to preparing the cottage so well. MS, West Sussex

We have enjoyed our stay at Anvil Point, thanking the engineers of Trinity House for the study construction of Rowena which has resisted the gales blowing off the channel. We would recommend visiting Corfe Castle (climb up Knowle Hill for an excellent view), Durdle Door (superb even in September hil lstorms) and generally exploring the coast. The refurbished castle in the country park is well worth a visit. M&Z, Pinner

Lovely place - we don't want to go! Mixed weather - but lots of excellent walks. If you go to Dancing Ledge remember to take your swimming costume and have a swim in the pool that is cut into the ledge. If it rains - Nothe Fort and Portland Cottage are great. ES, Surrey
