Fab vibe to this cottage - definitely a return visit scheduled. We walked to the vineyard pub. Very friendly and good family food. Brilliantly maintained cottage. All we wanted to do at the end of the day was to come back and enjoy The Old School again. Thank you for making it all so good!! Awesome place and great walks in the countryside. Thank you Vicky for preparing everything so well and for making our stay very comfortable. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends. R. Kingston Upon Thames.

This cottage is lovely, one of the best we have stayed in. Vicky is lovely. Hamper most welcome. The pub, Vineyards Gap, was recommended by Vicky and was well worth the trip. It's up a steep hill, so take the car! The Hive Beach Cafe at Burton Bradstock serves fantastic food. Had a lovely day at Lyme Regis, but get there early to park by 11a.m. at the latest. Would love to return there. P.S. The aga is fantastic. Try toast on there, using the wire rack. M Shirley, Surrey

Happy days! We felt very much at home...or rather like living in a photo shoot for Country Living magazine. Our recommendation for a place to eat is the Hive beach Cafe at Burton Bradstock. We loved it so much we went two days in a row. Fantastic seafood in a wonderful location. We were all so impressed with the welcome hamper and the overall quality of the house and garden. Thank you so much. SJ, Bristol

A very enjoyable stay in a beautiful house to celebrate John's 'special' birthday. The house was very comfortable and homely. We especially loved the kitchen and the wonderful Aga! Very well-equipped kitchen. Thank you to the housekeeper for her attention to detail. Visit Charmouth to go fossil hunting which our boys enjoyed. Lovely lunch in Lyme Regis in the cafe in the same building as the post office (hidden away at the back). Very small place but delicious home-made food. Beaminster is a pretty village with some appealing independent shops and an enjoyable drive along the coast to Seatown to view 'Golden Cap' and Chesil Beach from Abbotsbury. KM, Goring-on-Thames,
