Lovely house with plenty of space. Garden is stunning and well manicured. Each room has a bathroom which is a huge plus. Farm is immaculate. Located by farm shop and cafe. Lounge was sociable and kitchen facilities had most things that you need which many rentals lack. Welcome hamper was amazing. Bedroom headboards were dirty which was only major disappointment and a couple of the beds could well do with new mattresses. That aside, a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.

The accommodation was excellent could not fault it.A few minor complaints key safe not very good came apart when opening,oven gloves in very poor condition need replacing. Location was very good with farm shop close by and cafe next door.The cafe was a real bonus,had an enjoyable Sunday lunch there,very friendly staff. Despite the weather everyone had an enjoyable stay. A great place to celebrate my birthday. Hope to visit again in the future.

This is an excellent large property and it suited our party of 9 very well. The ensuite bathrooms to all bedrooms are a particularly welcome feature and all appeared to work very well and the showers were excellent. The property also benefits from a large well equipped kitchen, although the dining room is slightly small for 10 and would suit 8 better really, and you have to carry food through the living room to get there. But generally speaking the property is ideal and there really isn't much to complain about. Excellent parking outside with space for several cars, and despite the close proximity of the farm we didn't hear much noise at all as the property seems very well insulated and cosy, and was very warm. As two couples in our party have all electric cars it would have been nice to have a charging point installed as the location is very rural. I guess that this will increasingly become an issue for cottage agencies but progress seems fairly slow so far. Anyway, it wasn't a major problem as they were able to go elsewhere without major inconvenience.

The layout of the farmhouse works well for our extended family. In particular the bedroom configuration is great for us all - 2 seniors, 4 adults and 3 grandchildren. Some of the mattresses are lumpy and need replacing to ensure a good nights sleep. The 2nd floor bedroom has some very low beams so beware! The log burner in the lounge is a nice feature but unfortunately smoked very badly on lighting and filled the room with smoke, until it was warm enough to draw through. Generally a nice, comfortable place to stay but could probably do with a bit of updating.
