Silver Birches holiday home details

A superb spacious three storey end terrace mews house forming part of an attractive crescent of properties that overlook a well-maintained open green to the front. Silver Birches is a truly lovely spot for holidaymakers to enjoy around the year whether you are looking for a short stay or longer break.

Built in 2018, Silver Birches is located on the King's Meadow development, an exclusive collection of traditionally styled properties on the outskirts of the beautiful Georgian town of Holt. The house benefits from a peaceful, relaxing environment, an enclosed private landscaped garden, and parking for two cars. Fitted out and equipped to a very high standard, this lovely property is comfortably furnished throughout. There are three bedrooms over two floors and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. This is an ideal house for couples and friends looking to enjoy time away together but it's also a family friendly property with travel cot, high chair and stairgate all available.

On the ground floor the sitting room has a large L-shaped sofa to sink into while you watch your favourites on a Smart TV and DVD player. The adjoining south facing kitchen/diner has french doors leading out to a pretty courtyard garden - just the place to spend a peaceful afternoon, or enjoy al fresco dining in the summer. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need if you prefer 'eating in' but, as you are rather spoilt for choice with so many fabulous places to eat both in Holt and the nearby villages, you might be tempted to leave the cooking to someone else. Naturally the house has full central heating, double glazing and great insulation so you will always be cosy whatever the time of year.

Attractions and nearby amenities

  • A fifteen minute walk takes you into Holt town centre, a very pretty Georgian market town just three miles inland from the north Norfolk Coast. This popular shopping destination has an interesting selection of independent shops and galleries and there are numerous cafes, pubs and restaurants.
  • If you enjoy walking, Holt has its own 100-acre Country Park and Kelling Heath, with its pretty woodland trails, is close by. And, of course, there are miles and miles of the North Norfolk coastal path to explore too.
  • On the outskirts of Holt is Holt Railway Station, a mere one minute walk from Silver Birches. From here you can catch the North Norfolk Railway steam train and take a ride to Weybourne and Sheringham, where you can connect up with the train to the cosmopolitan City of Norwich if you wish.
  • Cley-next-the-Sea, just a short drive north, is a pretty village with a landmark windmill, art galleries, a fabulous deli and a tea room or two. Just outside the village is the Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitor centre and Cley Marshes where you can sit in the café and enjoy panoramic views across the marshes, or birdwatch to your heart's content.
  • Morston Quay is the place to come if you’d like to go seal spotting. Boats leave from here to take you out onto the waves. Keep your eyes peeled!
  • Blakeney is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the coast, with a National Nature Reserve where you may well spot seals and plenty of migratory birds. Make a day of it – you’ll find shops to browse through and cafés and pubs in the village of Blakeney too.
  • National Trust properties at Sheringham Park, Felbrigg Hall and Blicking Hall are only a short drive away.
