A fantastic holiday in a beautiful cottage surrounded by lovely countryside. We have both had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The dogs loved it too! Very much hope to stay with you again one week (or two) soon.

Lovely cottage, clean and everything catered for. Thanks to Pat for checking everything was OK on arrival. Good shop and coffee stop in Cornhill on Tweed. Great walks around the cottage for the dog. Good food at Collingwood Hotel and Blue Bell, Crook hall. Lovely beach at Bamburgh to walk the dog. Hope to return soon. Thanks for a great time.

Our first visit to Northumberland. This is a wonderful cottage to stay in. The early morning walks around the fields have been delightful. Loads of wildlife. The night skies are awe-inspiring with the best views of the Milky Way I can remember! In addition to the usual trips previously mentioned, the stone circle near Duddo is worth a visit and a walk around Hethpool with its history and views. We will hopefully return. Thank you Jasmine.

We have had a amazing stay over the last 9 days. Even though it is August, we have lit the fire a few times! It is a very cosy place to stay and a real home from home. A proper cot rather than a travel cot was great for the baby. The children have loved playing in the garden. We have enjoyed days out to Bamburgh Castle, Cragside (NT), Floors Castle in Kelso, Bowhill House, Seahouses and the little gem of Kelso which was well worth a trip and the restaurant of Cobbles was fantastic. If you feel like a trip to Edinburgh, drive to New Craighall and park all day for 50p and the train is only 30 minutes costing £3.20 return! Thanks again - wifi would have been a bonus. You have a little gem here!

Wonderful week in gorgeous cottage - such tranquillity ... lovely walks in Cheriot Hills and coast. Our favourite castle: Floors Castle in Kelso (amazing garden). Best coffee in recently opened The Cream Chimneys, also in Kelso. It's hard to return to hectic London ...

This was our first time to Northumberland and we really loved it. Spectacular scenery and great dog walking. We loved Lightpipe, a beautiful house in a fantastic location - the reservoir was an extra treat and we out on the boat a couple of times which was great fun. We had great day trips to Bambugh and Seahouses. Had good meals out at the Blue Bell Inn, Collingwood Hotel and Fisherman Inn which were all dog friendly. Plus can highly recommend the Indian takeway in Coldstream. We've had a fantastic holiday - thank you.

Well what can we say? Beautiful cottage and lovely surroundings. B loved running around the grounds (we couldn't get him in). Only one bad day (Thursday) full of rain so had to stay in (such a shame ... not!). Lovely views. Didn't make it to the reservoir but we will do next time. Loved the welcome hamper. We went all over the place. Loved the beach at Seahouse. Jasmine, the lilies were beautiful and lasted all week. We will back with our other dog too! Thank you for a fantastic, restful, beautiful, happy stay.

We've loved our stay in the beautiful cottage amongst stunning countryside. Lightpipe has been renovated beautifully and is very well equipped and thought out. All the little touches were very much appreciated.
We've explored the area a lot, the highlight being the puffins on Inner Farne. The coast is magnificent, Bamburgh (recommend The Copper Kettle Tea House) Beadnell Bay, Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle and if you are on the coast visit The Ship (open Weds-Sat for meals and you need to book). Coldstream Guards museum is small but interesting. We also did a lovely walk to Linhope Spout. Thank you Jasmine for all your thoughtfulness.

What a delightful cottage. The perfect base in which to hold our family get together. We had good weather for local walks and enjoyed trips to Lindesfarne, Alnwick and Crastor. Sunday lunch at The Blue Bell Inn was superb. We all loved the week and our time in the cottage. Thank you Jasmine.

Lovely, just like last year. Only our second visit, may there be many more. If anyone is heading south to Banburgh try The Well House Cafe in Belford. With good bacon rolls, cakes and short bread. We also visited The Old Dairy in Ford- Aga made marmalade and the scones looked good too. Happy summer to all who stay here before our next visit.

Enjoyed a lovely stay here for a family get together and to celebrate a "Big Birthday" of one of our party (40). Cottage beautiful above and beyond what we expected. We all charged out batteries, all over too soon. Thank you Jasmine.

We have throughly enjoyed our stay at Lightpipe. Such a lovely cottage, in beautiful, tranquil surroundings - just what we needed! Thank you very much for the welcome hamper - lots of yummy treats! We saw the owl a few times in the evening. We have managed to visit the coast a few times as we had been quite lucky with the weather. Had a lovely great day in Edinburgh, as we got the train from Berwick to enjoy the lovely scenery. S&V, Selby

What a lovely cottage, so peaceful and in a beautiful part of the country. Unfortunatley, we were not able to do the walking we planned as our dog was just recovering an operation. A good excuse for us to come back when he is fully fit. We enjoyed watching the acrobatics of the bats in the garden and seeing the owl fly off each evening around 10.40pm. D& T, Folkstone

We have enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It is a peaceful location and seeing all the different birds and wildlife made it special. The barn owl came our at 10.30pm and perched on the fence before flying over the fields. Gardens nearby that are worth a visit are Hetton House and Mindrum from the Yellow Book. Shepherds House in Inveresk is also very good. Our trip to the Castle of Mey took us through beautiful scenery of the Highlands. Well worth the long trip! The Main St Trading company book shop and care in St Baswell is worth a visit. Lovely warm scones straight from the oven. We had a good meal at the Collingwood Arms Hotel nearby. This holiday to Northumberland was about seeing some of the places we didn't manage to see before and I think we managed to acheive that. Many thanks J&P, Hertfordshire
