This classic 17th century Grade II listed Cotswold farmhouse boasts many original features with an abundance of exposed beams, mullion windows, oak doors along with a wood panelled library and both flagstone and old elm floors. Generously spacious for four guests to enjoy both the atmospheric interior and the delightful large gardens, including an enclosed garden on the south side. Ideally situated, with both Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds right on your doorstep.

Attractions and nearby amenities

  • The nearest pubs are in the village one to two miles away and a range of shops, pubs and restaurants can be found in Shipston-on-Stour, one and a half miles away.
  • Other places to visit include Chipping Campden which is six miles away and Stratford-upon-Avon (with the renowned Royal Shakespeare) 11 miles away.
  • Chipping Campden is arguably the most attractive of the larger Cotswold wool villages and the High Street was described by the historian, Sir George Trevellyan, as “the most beautiful village street now left in this island”. The village has an abundance of shops, restaurants and pubs and is a good centre for visiting the Cotswold beauty spots and gardens.
  • Other lovely, Cotswold towns nearby are Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold.
  • Batsford Arboretum or Hidcote Gardens are highly recommended.
