Masongill Lodge povides perfect setting and accommodation for the three generation weekend we book it for.

Masongill Lodge was absolutely perfect. Comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We absolutely loved it.

The location and the efforts made by the housekeeper are excellent. We felt "home from home".
The only negatives were in the main bathroom - where the tap didn't work properly and the toilet seat needed replacing.
I think for this type of property and price - these things should have been dealt with.

Brilliant weekend in the cottage, very clean and tidy on arrival. Highly recommend 👍

Heating in the house particularly the bedrooms is not totally effective, especially the twin bedroom. Main bathroom also in need of update. Twin bedroom should have a zip and link bed rather than twin beds.
Other than we enjoyed our stay. Particularly like the kitchen. Also like the area and the lovely walking countryside.

Wonderful house, superb location. Off the beaten track so quiet, but quick to join the main road. For us, the easy access onto the fells makes it a great place for a family walking holiday. Plenty of space for us all, either as a group, or all spread out through the various sitting areas.

Only 4 stars as it is beginning to look tired, but we did notice the for sale notice in the yard!

House lovely and very cosy and clean, with lots of equipment. Housekeeper very helpful.
Just a small point ......Perhaps the information folder needs checking for updates eg. bin days. The info. on the kitchen board differs from that in the folder.

Fantastic property. Lots of character in old farmhouse but modernised and comfortable. Great location in countryside but easy to reach larger towns and lakes. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely house! We've especially enjoyed the garden, having had many bbq's and one epic swingball tournament! We've done some amazing walks and even one down Gaping Gill! No doubt we will be back next summer!

Had a great week in this very comfortable house. White star caves, Ingleton Waterfalls and a walk up Ingleborough Peak - all very close. Go Ape Tree Top adventure in Grizedale Forest was a great day out. We also did the steam train from Embsay station, fishing at Kilnsey Park Estate and a super drive back high over the dales.

Thank you for your thoughtful, kind help, and and the assistance you gave us with organising our holiday. We have had a wonderful stay at Masongill. I could not wish for a more tranquil or beautiful place to be with my family and celebrate my birthday. The house had a lovely, cosy atmosphere and its own individuality and grace. The garden too was exquisite, quite magical everybody loved it.
