This was our honeymoon and we were looking for a real retreat, total relaxation and some time for our little pup. Boy did we get it! All boxes ticked. The cottage is an absolute gem, a fairy cottage in the woods. Thank you Tracey for the wonderful welcome. The flowers, champagne and card was a very unexpected treat and all enjoyed very much. Five star treatment all round. Thanks for all the very detailed local info. We've really enjoyed the local coves and beaches and pub lunches. This is our third stay in this wonderful cottage and have loved being here as much as the very first time in Autumn 2015. A great welcome again from Tracy, Nigel and the family with a great hamper to get us in the holiday mood. Once again, the sunny weather has spoilt us (our Welsh neighbours think we are lying as they expect wall to wall rain once crossing the Severn Bridge!) Wonderful walks up in the hills, down on the beaches and through the Cwm Gwarn. The river walk at Llanychaer and the circular walk were new to us and a real highlight. Food at the cafe in Trefin was once again fantastic and the Golf Club, overlooking Newport Sands also has a good selection; not forgetting Morawellan. We will be back!

Good butchers in Newport and a traditional bakery. Pat's Plaice fish & chips were good. Cwm Gwaun is a great place to visit and walk but beware the very steep walls! Very comfy cottage, thank you to our hosts, we will return.

We had a very warm welcome from Tracy who gave us lots of information about walking in the area. The cottage is beautiful and immaculate inside, very quiet and peaceful. The hamper was gorgeous, definitely the best we have had at any of the many cottages we have stayed in. We couldn’t fault the cottage, didn’t want for anything. The area is stunning, with numerous walks, whether you want to go for a short walk or something a little more challenging. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning

Tracey and Nigel made us very welcome from the start with their hamper full of goodies. The cottage was immaculate and cosy and the setting is perfect for a walking holiday. We've had a thoroughly enjoyable week walking the cliff tops and spotting the sea-birds. Our dog being allowed on the beaches was a real bonus at this time of year too. Loved St. Davids and Salvo, Poppit and Newport beaches, plus all the amazing little coves dotted around the coast. We've been very lucky with the weather, but even if it had rained all week, we'd have been happy in this delightful spot. Thank you!

We have had a relaxing stay in your cottage. Thank you so much. Well-equipped and very comfortable. Arrived to a very welcome hamper with everything we might need. We felt very at home and that if we needed anything it was not too much trouble to ask. The walks straight from the house are nice but we went slightly further afield to Alltclun? Which was a nice circular walk on many different terrains. Newport Beach was fantastic and we spent a lot of our week there. We've had a great week. Good sunshine for most of the time. Walked every day without doubt but the best walk was Dinas Head which we extended by walking down to Aberbach first and then onto Aberforest and then back up the valley (stunning spring flowers, new ferns - very fairy tale) to the road and over to walk back to the cottage along the ridge. Also loved views from Carningli. The walk from Abereiddy to Portgain was interesting and scenic. Many thanks

We had a fantastic week, the weather has been wonderful and the cottage is absolutely charming! Ginny our little scotty dog particularly liked chasing the rabbits. We spent most of the week on the beach exploring the beautiful coves which are all dog friendly. The walk around Dinas Head was tiring but stunning and a trip to St David's a must.

A very cosy cottage in an ideal location close to local beaches and facilities, and with walks on your door step - which our dog and I enjoyed every morning - the views are superb! We were very impressed with the cottage, the area, and the welcome hamper was fantastic. The owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Newport was great for restaurants. There are dog friendly beaches in both directions - even the walk to the local beach was great. Looking forward to a return trip! SO, Buckinghamshire.

We went to Cwm-yr-Eglwys and launched our boat, also a great place for swimming and jumping into the sea. We also went to Aberbach where we caught lots of shrimps and prawn and Mum got to sunbathe! All of the beaches we went to our dog friendly and great places to spend the day. We all loved the cottage as it was a great centre point for all our adventures. S & B, Herefordshire

Even though it was the hottest week in Wales, it was lovely to be out of the Virginia heat and humidity. Being able to walk with cooling sea breezes can never be taken for granted! We were most happy overlooking the bays and shorelines on our 3 day walking trip. Cwm Bach provided comforts and cool indoors after our returns. Thank you for this memorable few days. P & T, USA

Had a lovely holiday, loved the beach Aberbach just down the road and adored the donkeys who were partial to sliced apple and carrots in the evening- the friendliest donkeys ever! Shame we have to go home. P & M, London

A really charming cottage. Great bays and beaches all around us! The weather was mixed but it didn't matter! This quiet and relaxing setting was the best for coming down. U & H, Germany

Who better to explore the local woods, walk the coastal path and gallop along the beach than with a dog! Thank you for letting him share your beautiful cottage with us and such stunning surroundings. It's been a joy! We leave wishing it could be a longer stay. E & P, Surrey

We have enjoyed our second visit to the cottage just as much as the first. We have been so lucky with the weather - lots of sunshine which has made the coastal walks spectacular. Some of the best walks are from the cottage itself, over the road and then down the footpaths or bridleways down to the sea. Lovely warm, comfortable cottage to come back to after a day's walking. Thank you. J & M London

Enjoyed two days of wonderful sunshine and blue skies, walking the coastal path from the cottage down to Dina's Islands two beaches. Dogs had a great time, particularly the muddy pond in the woods. T & C, Gloucestershire

Very relaxing in glorious April sunshine, drinks outside as the sunset. Wonderful walks on the coastal path with breath-taking views. Highly recommend the walk to Mynddinas out the path at the back and keep walking straight up to the rocks - fabulous views of the coast and glorious Wales. C & D, London

Thank you for a marvellous break. We have all walked, ate, made fires, played Mahjong, watched films, enjoyed popcorn and slept making this a wonderful stay. The walk around the point at St David's was particularly magical. Thank you for making Pembrokeshire another of our favourite places. L & S, Somerset
