As a customer focused business, we are keen to reassure guests, homeowners and housekeepers during uncertain times. The situation regarding Coronavirus (Covid 19) changes regularly and we will always follow the latest regulations.
If the local or national travel restrictions are re-introduced due to Covid-19 then affected Guests will be offered various options including changing the start date of the holiday, a voucher to stay in the same property on an alternative date or a full refund of the cost paid to date towards renting the property.
These restrictions differ across the UK as follows:
All our English properties are now open for holidays with all social gathering restrictions having been ended on 19th July. We do, however, continue to follow enhanced cleaning protocols and other protective procedures in all properties.
All our Welsh properties are now open for holidays and, from 17th July, up to six people from different households or any number from a single household can use a property.
Social gathering restrictions, both within properties and at other venues, are expected to remain in place until at least 7th August.
All of our Scottish properties are now open for holidays and, from 19th July, up to eight adults from four households or any number from a single household can use a property. Children of 12 years or under are not included in the figures.
Social gathering restrictions, both within properties and at other venues, are expected to remain in place until at least 9th August.
Please be aware that other Coronavirus related restrictions may apply outside your holiday property anywhere in the UK with certain venues requiring mask wearing or proof of vaccination or continuing to implement some social distancing measures in line with UK Government guidance or as a requirement under Welsh or Scottish legislation.
If a Guest(s) records a positive Covid test
If a Guest has a positive test and is following the isolation rules, the Guest will be requested to provide us with a copy of the positive test result. Guests with positive test will be requested not to come on holiday and the party will be offered the choice of the following options:-
- Voucher – valid for 12 months from the original stay date in the same property
- Date change – holiday can be moved within 12 months of the original stay dates
- Full refund
- Offered discount for lower occupancy (if applicable)
