Lovely, well kept and clean accomodation right next to the lighthouse. Stunning views out into the English channel. Bishop rock is close to the village of Lizard where there is plenty to eat and drink. Ideally located for coastal walks or driving further afield.

Really clean and tidy. Very well equipped with everything you need. Location was fantastic with the views out of the widows stunning. Onsite parking topped it off.

Very well equipped and beautifully decorated in keeping with the history of the building. An amazing place to stay and very comfortable. Our only issue was the smell from the oil fired boiler which leeks in through the windows. Some information in the pack on recycling would have been useful.

Great Location, clean property. Had a problem with the boiler but it was sorted out quickly.

Beautiful cottage as always but we were disappointed in the welcome basket. We have stayed at your cottages many times but this is the first time the welcome pack has had so little in it. There is normally always bread, cake, wine, eggs, cheese, etc so we didnt come prepared and had to go out to buy bread etc for breakfast which we weren't expecting to have to do. Mrs Anslow

Warm, cosy and comfortable cottage in a unique location. Incredible views, whatever the weather, and ideal base to explore the beautiful Lizard peninsula. The only disappointment was the lack of Welcome Hamper, a real USP for Rural Retreats, now reduced to a Welcome Pack I'm afraid.

This was our second visit to Bishop Rock at the Lizard Lighthouse and will not be our last! The location is incredible. The views from the cottage are wonderful. Loads of choices for walks. The only very minor difference this time was the welcome hamper is now much smaller than previously. But had we not visited before, we would never have known. We love it there!

Lovely cottage, fantastic views from every window. Would highly recommend. Foghorn does go off occasionally, but it's a working lighthouse so you should expect that.

Lovely setting with stunning views. Cottage very clean and had everything we needed - the kitchen was well equipped. Lovely welcome hamper greeted us on arrival.

Fantastic views from all windows, well sized rooms, characterful cottage. Newly installed modern well equipped kitchen. Modern bathroom. Went in December and was cosy and warm.

Wonderful place to stay. We stayed for 5 days in November. The cottage is warm and homely. Views are absolutely stunning. Sea view from every window.. The fog-horn was sounding one night, but it just adds to the ambiance! Some fantastic walks from the lighthouse. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be back.

Very nice and clean accommodation in a fantastic location. Only reason not 5 Stars is the lack of any Internet and almost no phone signal - although this was actually quite nice I think in today's world it needs to be flagged in the holiday particulars, as many will need to keep in touch. Otherwise great, and the welcome pack was very welcome!

We loved this place and would 100% return. Exactly what we were expecting, fantastic price. Location is spectacular and even no WiFI and no phone signal was a welcome we didn’t know we needed!

A brilliant experience - staying at the lighthouse on the most southerly point of England feels such a privilege. A really well equipped cottage with absolutely fantastic views.

Bishop Rock is a beautiful place to stsy yet we still find the cleaning standards not on a par to Solebay Cottage at Pendeen Lighthouse which is another Rural Retreats property. There were dead daddy long legs in the kitchen window. The drawers at the bottom of the fridge do not pull out properly as they are broken. To be honest, I think thr whole kitchen is due for an overhaul.
