Beautiful comfy cosy cottage. We wanted for nothing whilst there. I was so sad to come home. The views were stunning as were the walks. Would recommend the top house for food and the farm shop for daily groceries. Can’t wait to go back next year.
Cosy welcoming cottage, perfect stay
Good location - fabulous scenery but village limited for supplies- partly due to end of season but it looks like Village Store & Post Office permanently closed.
This is a beautiful, well presented, clean and spacious cottage with lovely view to sea. . Great location for walking the SW coastal path to Kynance cove in one direction and Cadgwith cove in the other. Safe pedestrianised 5-10 minute walk up to the village where there are lovely gift shops, cafes and 2 friendly pubs. Lizard point is a fantastic location for watching the sun rise and set as well as for seal watching and both Polpeor and Wavecrest cafes an excellent spot for sitting admiring the view at any time.. Absolutely loved our stay here
It clearly depends on what you are looking for, but we wanted somewhere away from it all for a quiet time together. Apart from the foghorn (which isn't that bad and we didn't mind anyway) Godrevy gave us what we wanted. The cottage is well equipped and cosy. There is no wifi and the mobile phone signal is intermittent, but that's what we expected. The nearest supermarket is in Helston, about 11 miles away, but stock up when you arrive and that's not a problem either. If you do run short then try the farm shop in Gweek, not cheap but well stocked. ... and enjoy the view of the Channel from the living room window.
It’s just the best place, every thing about it is amazing
Truly epic stay in the Godrevy Cottage at the Lizard Lighthouse - a perfect base camp for exploring Cornwall: incredible views, fantastic walking, super friendly village, and very cozy and comfortable accommodation. We hope to be able to come again one day!
Clean, comfortable, fantastic location. Within easy walking distance to the local village pubs and cafes. 2 great coastal walks nearby.
Clean and comfortable with a lovely welcome pack. It wasn’t misty so we did not experience the fog horn, although ear plugs were provided. Comfortable bed and very well equipped. As we were told earlier, mobile phone signal not easily obtainable and similar with WiFi. However if you want peace and quiet I would recommend.

great location and property was spotlessly clean
Bedroom can be very noisy due to position on the ground floor close to both of the neighbours seating area / main entrance & gate.. Especially if they listen to music or socialise outside and have a barking dog. The bedroom lacked blackout roman blinds or curtains. It was too light and was affected by neighbours outside lights when on (sometimes all night). The rest of the accommodation was clean, very comfortable and has fabulous views.
Great novelty value. Good location for walking the coast path. More than adequate space and equipment. Shame about being woken at 5am by the foghorn!

Lovely cosy cottage with fantastic views. Everything you need available, lovely comfortable bed. Easy access to the coastal path with breathtaking scenery. We were lucky as the weather was lovely which made our holiday perfect.
Well maintained, warm and comfy cottage in a unique location
The cottage was beautifully clean, everything we needed to have a perfect holiday. The views are amazing. No need to move the car, walks in all directions from the cottage and the village just 10 minute walk up the road. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
Godrevy has a homely feel , we stayed here last year too , just a couple of things that could be improved, you get several beetles in the hall, and bathroom, and the paint is peeling badly in the bedroom although it doesn’t smell damp , also the TV takes 10mins for the screen to stop flickering before you can watch it not good if the have light sensitivity,
