Downbridge lodge is absolutely amazing, a wonderful Peaceful place to stay . Very clean . Very near to travel to places to visit . Beds were very comfortable.. only thing I would say is could do with an extra sofa. Other than than was wonderful. Stuart is extremely helpful.

Super facilities in a very quiet location.

Everything about the holiday, accomodation, facilities were first class. It is set in an area of historical hotspots and natural beauty. The peace and quiet mind blowing. Our hosts were discrete but always ready to help. Having never been to Suffolk found the 'locals' to be welcoming and obliging.

Fabulous, very comfortable, 5 star accommodation. Very well presented and lovely quite surroundings and friendly host in Stuart. We have been here 3 times so far, would definitely recommend.

Well positioned for exploring beautiful Suffolk, quiet peaceful situation. Lodge very well equipped but would benefit from a comfortable armchair or two. That apart, excellent in all respects.

Downbridge Lodge was most welcoming with a beautiful hamper of goodies and essentials on the table on arrival. The lodge is stunning and Stuart the owner is very helpful if you require anything. Definitely a wonderful place to stay.

Thoughtfully designed and beautifully appointed the Lodge gave us everything we could have wanted. Ideally situated for a short stroll to the pub, or for wider exploring. It’s central location meant we had great days south at Woodbridge and Sutton Hoo, Snape and Aldeburgh. We also managed great trips out to Blakeney and the North Norfolk coast. Perfect !

Downbridge Lodge is beautiful and very well thought out and one of the best places we have stayed in. Stuart seems to have thought of everything with lots of little extras making our stay perfect. Everything about the Lodge was lovely. Thank you Stuart for a brilliant week I'm sure we will be back.

Excellent Rural Retreat with every facility

We had a lovely 5 days here. It is a lovely area with lots to see. The lodge was well equipped and we had everything we needed. The seating in the lounge area could have been more comfortable but we really enjoyed our stay. We strongly recommend Weavers in Diss for fine dining, and Lowestoft for fresh crab!. Fish and Chip van on a Thursday night was also good.

This cottage was just what we were looking for. Its spacious, well equipped, extremely quiet, has ample parking and is ideally situated for country walks. Stuart, the owner of Downbridge Lodge, made us feel really welcome and couldn’t have been more helpful. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Excellent barn lodge. Very comfortable and well presented. Very tastefully furnished well located to visit the surrounding areas. Very friendly and helpful host in Stuart. Thank you, we have rebooked to return in September.

If you need piece and quite plus comfort this is for you it was very clean the beds were comfortable bathrooms are large .this is our second time at Downbridge Lodge and will be returning later in the year
