Inkpen Cottage is one of the best holiday homes we have stayed in! Everything as described and in working order, which hasn’t always been our experience. Renovated to a high standard and tastefully furnished, the cottage is warm & welcoming providing a very relaxing stay. There is a lovely private garden which is a great space to just sit and watch the sunsets and the full moon!! The hosts have it just right - generous welcome hamper, respond promptly to messages yet respect your privacy throughout the stay. Finally great location for exploring the area…Sissinghurst, Great Dixter, Rye, Hastings and there’s a lovely friendly pub and bakery in the local village. Would highly recommend.
The property, location and interiors were perfect in ever way.
Inkpen cottage is a hidden gem, beautifully equipped, comfortable and warm. Everything is spotlessly clean and fresh. The owners leave a very comprehensive welcome pack including all sorts of goodies. The hot tub is bliss after a day in the rural countryside.

What a lovely place to relax and get away from it all. The cottage is stylish, comfortable and cosy with everything we needed for our stay. The private hot tub in the garden is fantastic and perfect for stargazing as there is no light pollution at all. The hosts are thoughtful and communication before and during the stay was great. Highly recommended.
Best Rural Retreats property we have stayed at! Beautiful, quiet location. Excellent accommodation, fitted out to a very high standard with everything you need. Perfect for exploring everything the local area has to offer; and there’s lots. Helpful hosts who answered any queries very efficiently but then left you alone to enjoy your holiday. Absolutely nothing to complain about and highly recommended. Just wish we could have stayed longer than a week.
Nice well equipped place in good location
Beautiful cottage in a lovely rural setting. Everything you could possibly want has been thought of and provided to a very high standard. Very comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean, it felt like we were the first people to stay there. The hot tub was an added bonus and was amazing.
Accommodation, setting and finishing touches were all first class. Highly recommended and will be back for more.

A lovely cottage and very helpful owners. They have thought of everything to make our stay really easy and restful. We loved the outside spaces to sit and soak up the sun rays and the fireplace is fantastic.

As all restrictions have been lifted across the United Kingdom, you are no longer legally required to self-isolate upon a positive Covid-19 result. You won’t be asked to take daily tests or isolate following contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. This means, if you would like to modify or cancel your booking due to Covid-19, our normal terms and conditions now apply.
If the restrictions are reintroduced and you are forced to cancel your holiday due to legal restrictions, please be rest assured that we will help you to move your booking within the same property, offer a voucher to be used within the same property within a year or cancel your booking in this instance and we will refund you the price you paid in full.
If you are concerned about the potential impact of Covid-19 on your holiday plans, outside of legal restrictions, we strongly advise you to seek out travel insurance which covers you in these and other eventualities.
