This place was lovely however there were a couple of points I would like to make. Firstly the bedroom next door to the bathroom needs a new mattress it is completely worn out and not overly comfortable. Also there needs to be more rails to hold towels there is no where to put them to dry. In the lounge you can hear the family next door which we were not overly impressed about and also for the 2 intrusions that we encountered particularly when I had explained that we were in the middle of something, because it was not our property I could not say no, although I felt that the grass and hot tub could have waited until we left.

7 of us stayed at Heath cottage to celebrate one of us getting married, we had the most amazing time and would love to stay again. The house was beautiful and the kitchen/diner/living area was such a lovely space to all spend time together, we had lovely weather so the garden furniture and hot tub were great to have too. We had been left a hamper by the owners which was lovely and really appreciated and they were very helpful and easily contactable on WhatsApp if needed, Thanks so much for a lovely weekend!

The cottage was perfect for all our requirements over a long wedding weekend. It was spotlessly clean, excellently equipped and so very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and towels were lovely and soft. There was plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing. The table tennis set saw some great competitive action. The hot tub was very welcome and ready to use on arrival following long journeys especially, for two of our party whose journey was particularly traumatic. We had ordered a food delivery and because we were a little late, Scott very kindly took it in for us. That leads me to the hamper provided by Scott, oh my goodness, we have stayed in many rental properties in many countries but, never have we had a hamper like that one, in fact much of our food order doubled up on the hamper, needless to say 7 adults soon made light work of it. Scott is the perfect host, quick to answer any questions and even though he lives next door he and his family are not obtrusive at all. This comment is for people who stay with dogs, please clean up your dog poo. We had to clear two piles from the lawn, I’m assuming it was the previous guests, fortunately we had no children with us. We have dogs (not with us that weekend) and we clean up after our dogs no matter where they are. Thank you Scott for a lovely stay.

Cottage looks OK from the outside but is amazing inside - very luxurious and beautifully decorated. The guy looking after it went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with everything and I couldn't fault the service he gave. The only criticism I would have is that the cooking knives were cheap and thin and blunt. The sharpener wouldn't sharpen them. So if you're planning on cooking bring your own knives

The cottage was amazing, it had everything you could want. The hamper with all the goodies in was very much appreciated. The cottage is beautifully furnished with plenty of space for 3 families. The host was great and dealt with an issue we had very quickly, and showed us some walking routes and places to visit. We made use of the hot tub and even played a few games of table tennis!, We will definitely be coming back.
